Building strong client connections
Lauren graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in English Literature, and began her journey with kdm communications in 2022 after gaining experience as a freelance Social Media Manager. Starting as an Account Executive, she honed her skills in media management and planning, while traveling to meet clients across Germany, Finland and the United States.
In 2023, Lauren stepped away to explore roles as a Marketing Manager at a wedding venue and as a Digital Marketing Executive at Babraham Research Campus. At Babraham, she worked with biotech start-ups and scale-ups, managing internal communications and further refining her expertise in marketing and communications. She returned to kdm in 2024 as an Account Manager, and she now plays an important role in bridging the gap between clients and our in-house team of content creators. Her favourite parts of the job include helping to bring ideas to life, building strong connections and gaining fascinating insights along the way.
Although her career has taken her into the world of marketing, Lauren hasn’t entirely left her literary roots behind. She is still an avid reader, and even founded the company’s first book club! Outside of work, Lauren stays active with yoga and fitness, enjoys sharing adorable videos of her miniature Dachshund, Woody, on his viral TikTok account, and loves traveling the globe in search of sunnier skies.
