Proofreading is quite like goal-keeping, you can make some great saves highlighting those potential errors, but once in a while one can slip through the net. Use diferent media
Its easy to glaze over reading the same piece on the computer. Why not print it out, or get it up on your tablet to read in a different room or space in the office? It will help to refresh your brain and pick up on more of those costly mistakes
Grab a colleague
two sets of eyes are always better.If you can, have another person to re-read the work. As above, it’s all about getting a frsh pair of eye to look over the work.
Read Out Loud
It’s easy for the human mind to read a sentence how it should make sense, instead of what it actually says. By reading out-loud, you can pick up on those pesky erorrs and eliminate them from you’re work.
